Soviet District Court Vladivostok sentenced citizen of the People\’s Republic of China, who was found guilty of committing an offense under Part 4 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, dangerous to human life, resulting in the death of the victim).
As stated at the hearing, the offense committed by him in August last year, close to the state highway M-60 to the bay Azure in Vladivostok, where he was engaged in construction work in conjunction with the other citizens of China.
In the course of a quarrel that arose due to the fact that the defendant did not want to let the home of his friend, he took a wooden board and struck her strong and purposeful blow to the head of the victim. As a result of the injuries incompatible with life, the latter died.
While agreeing with the opinion of the public prosecutor, the court found the defendant guilty of the crime. For what he did, he was sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment in a penal colony.
