Согласно новому закону, увеличивается верхний предел штрафов и со 100 до 500 рублей – нижний. Новые штрафы начнут действовать уже с 1 сентября этого года. За разговор по мобильному телефону за рулем будут штрафовать на 3 000 рублей, а за управление транспортным средством без прав – на 5 000 -15 000 рублей. Кроме того, ужесточится ответственность за повторные нарушения. Если водитель второй раз в течение года превысил скорость на 60 километров в час, то его оштрафуют на 10 000 рублей. За повторный проезд на красный – на 5 000 рублей или лишение прав. Что касается нетрезвых водителей, то будет введен штраф в размере 30 000 рублей с лишением прав на управление автомобилем до 2 лет за отказ пройти медосвидетельствование на состояние алкогольного опьянения. Повторное совершение этого нарушения обернется штрафом в 50 000 рублей с лишением прав на 3 года.
