From his forty years of work experience 32-year veteran gave his service in the security structures of the Soviet army and law enforcement agencies. For 16 years of police service, he passed a complex way, worked district inspector of police, the investigator, the officer, the Deputy chief of the police Department for operative work. \’t count how many times he risked his life, entering into a fight with offenders. For his fighting and career Ivan Z. awarded Order of the red Star, medals «For defense of Stalingrad», «For military merits», «For Victory over Germany», «For irreproachable service», «For valorous work», «Veteran of labour». Acting head of МОМВД Russia «Dalnerechensk» police Colonel Sergei Goncharuk wished veteran health, long life and awarded the diploma of chief of the Moi of Russia for the Primorsky Krai Nikolay Afanasyev. Chairman of Council of veterans МОМВД Russia «Dalnerechensk» G.M. Подлужин congratulated the hero of the day noted that Василяга Ivan Z. — the most senior Дальнереченских veterans, but, despite its ninety years old, still vigorous and energetic, always ready to communicate with any audience. He has something to tell the younger generation about the hard days of the war, about those heroic events that he experienced. Addressing the young employees, a veteran is willing to share own experience in operational activities of the police. Many warm words of congratulations were said in this day. In his reply Ivan Z. thanked the participants for their care and concluded: «All my life I served the state and the people, and proud of it».
