During a working trip of the head of OJSC Russia — presidential envoy in the far Eastern Federal district Viktor Ishayev on his reelection as in Moscow him signed a cooperation agreement with the Chairman of the Board of OJSC «Gazprom» Alexey Miller. As the press service of OJSC Russia, the main purpose of the signed document is to provide favorable conditions for socio-economic development of the far Eastern Federal district and the implementation of the Eastern gas program. Now finally set priorities in the supply of the Far East oil and gas — will dominate the Russian consumer, and is located in the far East. Another important area of cooperation will be the development and introduction of innovations in the field of exploration, production, preparation and processing of oil and gas, including associated gas. Special attention in the agreement is paid to the issues of ecological security implemented on the territory of the far East Federal district projects and the environmental protection measures. The Ministry will assist Gazprom in implementation of projects for production, transportation, processing of gas and gas supply to consumers on the territory of the far Eastern Federal district, including the creation of a favorable investment climate. In turn, Gazprom will continue work on establishing centers of gas production on the territory of the far East Federal district — in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Sakhalin and Kamchatka Krai. Together with the creation of the centers of gas production and a unified system of gas transportation will be synchronously develop gas processing and gas chemical production, including production capacity of helium gas and liquefied natural gas. The company will continue gasification of the far East Federal district taking into account the prospects of economic development and consumption. In accordance with the agreement, the parties will take part in the development of the transport and communications networks in the regions of company activity on the territory of the far Eastern Federal district, as well as in the projects on construction of objects of social sphere. In addition, Gazprom will provide students studying on the territory of the far East Federal district, the opportunity to participate in the contest for receiving nominal scholarships in the specialties required by the company\’s subsidiaries.
