The head of Vladivostok Igor Pushkarev met with representatives of the city public organization of veterans «war Children», during which they discussed social issues and proposals veterans. The meeting was also attended by the heads of bodies of administration of Vladivostok. Participants discussed the issue of the approval and assignment of a rank «Veteran of labor of the city of Vladivostok». As noted by the mayor Igor Pushkarev, except for the high title of the person, awarded him should receive additional benefits. The mayor ordered to create a working group which will include as representatives of administration and social organization. The working group has to determine the conditions under which the inhabitants of Vladivostok can claim the title of «Veteran of labor of the city of Vladivostok, and also suggest possible measures of social support. And only after that will begin the work on acceptance of documents from candidates for the title. Also at the meeting it was decided to consolidate and technical equipping of the premises which are occupied by the public organization of veterans «war Children», they discussed issues of providing additional social support to the veterans.
