Russian President Vladimir Putin and his wife Lyudmila announced that their marriage is over.

On Thursday, they visited the ballet «Esmeralda» in the State Kremlin Palace, and then gave an interview to TV channel «Russia 24». Asked by a journalist about the situation in the Putin couple Lyudmila said:
— Yes, you can say this is a civilized divorce.
The President of Russia has confirmed her words:
— This was our joint decision. Our marriage is over. We hardly see each other. Each has its own life.
As one of the causes of divorce, Lyudmila Putin called the intolerable social life and frequent flights. She assured the journalists that they will stay with Vladimir Vladimirovich good friends.
