Members of the Public Chamber of the Russian presidential envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District discussed the development of children\’s medicine.
In Primorye in 2012 on the development of maternal and child health services, including repair of obstetric institutions, scheduled to 48980000 rubles, on the development of gynecological care, including repair of gynecological hospitals — 40.6 million rubles.
On equipping resuscitation and neonatal intensive care maternity hospitals, children\’s clinics provide 804.1 million. A total of equipping the institutions providing health care for children, in 2012 planned to spend more than 243 million rubles.
Following the meeting of the Commission on youth and family policy, children\’s rights under the Plenipotentiary of the Public Chamber decided to apply to the State Duma to adopt changes to the Construction and Housing Code, governing the mandatory introduction to the plans of housing developments children\’s clinics and kindergartens.
In addition, it was decided to apply to the Ministry of Health with a proposal to increase quotas by providing free high-tech medical care to children living in the Far East, with the possibility of compensation for payment of air travel, with the exception of patients with diseases of the central nervous system, for which this exemption has already been accepted.
The county is recommended to analyze the performance of the regional healthcare modernization programs over the past year and consider the prospects for 2012-2013.
