On the mountain taiga areas along the border of fern shoots have reached commercial size. Four of them were arrested at the site offices in paragraph Ovchinnikov. Two offenders border guard caught just at the time of collection of young shoots — they had time to prepare 30 kg of wild plants. With the same «harvest» in the late evening were found and arrested 2 more Chinese citizen. In complete darkness by headlamp residents of the adjacent state collected fern — the temptation to get more spring delicacy on Russian soil was too great.
On the facts of violation of the state border on all four detainees are now being investigated, the results of which will be made a legal decision to institute criminal proceedings — in the actions of the citizens of the PRC seen signs of a crime under Art. 322 of the Criminal Code (illegal crossing of the state border of the Russian Federation).
Another violator of the state border, or more precisely the offending, was arrested at the site offices in paragraph Fadeevka. The woman managed to collect only a few bundles of young shoots, the total weight detected in her fern was only about 4 kg. However, it is likely, too, will have to incur criminal liability.
On the same day near the village Ovchinnikov, in the border zone were detained five Chinese citizens and assemblers fern. As it turned out, they were on the territory of the Russian Federation legally — on employment visa to work in one of the agricultural region. Only collected wild plants in the wrong place.
For being in the border zone without authorization those citizens were fined a total of 2.5 thousand.
