In the State Duma a draft law on the establishment of the honorary title «Heroine Mother Russia», ITAR-TASS. Its author was made by deputy Michael Serduk of «Fair Russia».
The bill proposes to establish the honorary title of «Mother Hero of the Russian Federation» — the highest degree of social differences between women who gave birth to and raised five children under 8 years of age, including adopted children.
As explained Serduk, according to the draft, the honorary title «Heroine Mother» as a state award given a woman if the last child reached the age of one year, and reached the age of eight, said one of the other five children. «That is the honorary title» Heroine Mother «is assigned when the youngest child turns one year and older — eight years» — he explained.
«This issue is supported in the community, and Russian President Vladimir Putin, is specified in the Message of December 122012 the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on the need to strengthen the government\’s attention to issues of demography and to stimulate the birth rate in the country,» — said the author of the initiative.
