Today, April 30 the mayor of Vladivostok Igor Pushkarev held a courtesy meeting with a representative delegation of members of parliament of Japan, headed by a member of the House of Representatives, Minister of the Cabinet of Japan Kunio Hatoyama.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Head of the Administration of Vladivostok Roman Pockets, Head of International Relations and Tourism Vladimir Saprykin and adviser to the head of Vladimir Zakharov.
The delegation was accompanied by the Consul General of Japan in Vladivostok Nobuaki Ito and head of the society «Japan-Russia» Yasutsugu Mayudzumi.
These days in Vladivostok is held in the Far East rosiyskogo-Japanese forum and the delegation visited the city administration is an active organizer and participant. Most of the visitors to the capital of Primorye first came to us and have already managed to create, in their words, a very positive view of Vladivostok.
As it turned out, Kunio Hatoyama is aware of the major events in the life of Vladivostok. He congratulated Igor Pushkarev to the rank of one of the best mayors of Russia and wished him every success in this position. He noted that Beijing is one of the fastest growing cities in the region.
Igor Pushkarev told about the implementation of major projects and prospects of development of Vladivostok, which was to create the most comfortable environment for residents and visitors to the city. One of the lines — the transformation of Vladivostok in the authoritative center for international cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region. He noted that in Vladivostok have developed long-standing warm and fruitful relationship with Japan. Niigata was the first sister city of Vladivostok, to actively and dynamically developing economic, cultural, tourist and sports contacts.
Today at the car, «Sollers» are going to popular brands of Japanese cars «Toyota Prado» and «Mazda», a month is planned to open the advanced Japanese-Russian diagnostic center. Of great interest and approval guests were forthcoming with the Vladivostok Administration action on the landing in the city at once 150 cherry seedlings from Japan.
A lively and frank exchange of views, the participants discussed the prospects of bilateral relations between Russia and Japan as an example of active cooperation with the cities of Vladivostok land of the rising sun.
