The Federation Council approved a law that novice motorists are allowed to take a driving test for the category of rights in a car with an automatic transmission. Previously this could only be done on a car with a manual transmission. The relevant amendments made to the law «On the Road Safety» and the Code of Administrative Offences (CAO) of the Russian Federation, according to RIA «Novosti» .
Under the new law, those who have passed the exams in a car with automatic transmission, will be granted the right to drive cars only with an automatic transmission. This will be especially noted in rights. Those who chose the exam manual transmission, will be able to drive a car with manual and an automatic transmission.
Recall also the State Duma adopted amendments to require to take the exam on a moped permit. Take the examination for obtaining a driving license for a moped permit or ATV will be 16 years old, and the presence of the rights of any other category, and will provide an opportunity to manage this category of vehicles.
It also establishes a ban on engaging for drivers who do not have Russian national driving licenses. In this connection, establishes the administrative responsibility of officials for admission to the management of a vehicle such drivers to a fine of 50 thousand rubles.
