Russian-Japanese forum held in Vladivostok
The Japanese delegation was headed by the president of the Society «Japan-Russia», a member of the House of Representatives of Japan and the Japan Association of Members of Parliament for friendship with Russia, Mr. Kunio Hatoyama.
The main purpose of the event — updated platform of cooperation between the two countries and promote the development of the Far East.
It is noteworthy that the forum coincided with the visit of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to Moscow — the first in 10 years, reports the press service of the Far Eastern Federal University.
The forum will last two days — April 29 and 30 — on multiple platforms. Section «Knowledge Management» will work on the basis of the Scientific Library of Palo. Russian-Japanese partnership in the field of energy, transport, logistics and customs regulations will be discussed at the board of the legendary sailing ship «Hope.» Discussions on the development of agriculture will be held in the Agricultural University in Ussuriysk.
— During the meeting at the Forum also discussed the possibility of increasing the number of students from Japan in Palo.
