At the festival, "Education 2013" certificates for different amounts of the mayor presented the winners and finalists of the city contest of innovative educational programs.
Recall, this competition initiated by Igor Pushkarev held in Vladivostok in 2009. An educational institution in the city can take part in it, giving the technique or a program of teaching children. The winners gets the money to update the material-technical base. In the competition there are no analogues all over the Primorsky Territory.
So for four years, new computer labs, language labs, multimedia, laboratory equipment, interactive whiteboards, a new student's furniture appeared in 16 schools in Vladivostok (№ 9 № 51 № 57 № 76 № 23 № 26 № 74 , № 28 № 17 Lyceum "Technical", school number 1 and number 2 and others). New furniture, musical instruments, sports equipment, toys appeared in 16 municipal kindergartens (№ 5 № 27 № 29 № 144 № 145 № 22 № 39 № 104 № 125 № 172 № 184 № 121 № 15 № 30 and others). Significantly upgraded its material and technical base of the 15 institutions of further education.

According to Igor Pushkarev, on the one hand competition encourages educational institutions to introduce new programs, innovation, enhance the learning experience to enthrall children, on the other - it is a good tool for quickly updating aging material-technical base.
