Governor Vladimir Miklushevsky today, April 24 held a meeting with representatives of the Holding company «Siberian Business Union». The main topic of the meeting was to discuss the investment project for the construction of a modern high-tech region of the coal terminal capacity of 20 million tons per year.
This project was included in the state program of development of the Far East and Trans-Baikal 2025.
«We are ready to support the implementation of the project on the territory of Primorye. However, it is very important that these large companies have invested in the socio-economic development of the area where they are located. For example, support for sports, culture, housing and other important social objects » — Said during the meeting, Vladimir Miklushevsky.
The head of the holding noted that the company intends to build a new, modern housing for employees of the terminal, to teach young people to invest in the development of seaside sports and culture.
In the near future between the Primorsky Territory Administration and the Holding company «Siberian Business Union» will sign an agreement on social and economic partnership.
Note that modern coal terminal will be built in the Bay Area Sukhodil Shkotovsky. The total investment in the project will amount to 18 billion rubles. The necessary design work will be completed later this year. For 2014 is planned construction of the terminal, and the start of production is planned for 2015.
