In eastern China revealed five cases of avian flu «Eych7-En9» /H7N9 /, ITAR-TASS quoted on China Central Television.
The virus was found in five residents of Zhejiang Province, the total number of cases to them in China reached 101. In this case, 18 people died, nine more have recovered. As reported by local television, in hospitals for the treatment of 74 patients remained.
Currently, doctors are trying to determine the cause of the spread of infection. On the eve of the doctors said that «Eych7-En9» not detected in wild birds. Laboratory tests taken from birds in Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Anhui were negative for the new strain of influenza. Scientists continue to study.
Doctors also say that cases of human infection from person not identified.
