The Government will consider the establishment of a special economic port zone in Vostochny in Trinity Bay in the Primorye Territory. This order gave the Ministry of Economic Development and the regional administration of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev after a meeting of the State Commission on the socio-economic development of the Far East.
Development of the region declared a state priority in the formation of the federal budget for the next fiscal year. Ministries and departments requested to submit proposals to the Government on the development of the Far East and the Baikal region.
Thus, the management of "Gazprom" with interested federal executive authorities encouraged to submit proposals for the development prospects of helium industry.
Primorye administration and fund development of the Far East and the Baikal region to submit proposals for funding the construction of road reconstruction of regional significance by extrabudgetary sources.
In late 2011 the authorities began to work out a draft Maritime SEZs in the port of the East - the largest and most deep-water in the Far East. This gave impetus to the idea of the APEC summit. Vladimir Putin in early 2012 also called for the creation of port SEZ in the Far East, and even signed a decree on the establishment of SEZ tourist and recreational type in the Russian island.
First responded to the request of Prime Minister of Regional Development, published a draft of the State program of development of the Far East. According to the program, except for existing SEZ in Sovetskaya Gavan is expected to create three more SEZ port: port-based Vanino and De Castries, based at the port in Nakhodka and Vostochny based Nevel fishing port in southern Sakhalin.
At the same benefits of the SEZ is expected to extend the port of East and the oil terminal in Kozmino coal port in the Bay of Suhodol, a universal port in the bay of Trinity, will handle the transit of goods from China, as well as the transportation hub of Vladivostok.
Trinity Bay is located at the junction of three borders: Russia, China and North Korea. It has access to the Trans-Siberian Railway, is in close proximity to the Trans-Siberian railway connection with Transkoreey, and is the reference port of the Russian MTC "Primorye-2." This is the southernmost bay of the Russian Far East.
