Museum and exhibition center of Primorsky State Museum named after VK Arseniev, April 10 at 13:00 invites everyone to the opening of the exhibition "Country supermen. History of American comic books."
First author of the comic is Richard Felton Autkolt. He created a black and white caricature of a single-line "Down the alley Hogan", published in the 1895th year in the American newspaper "The World." The main hero of the cartoon was a shy bald guy in the shirt. A little later, publishers began to experiment with new colors printing. And so the hero cartoons Autkolta a yellow shirt with text written on it. Readers called the bald character in "Yellow Man" (Yellow Kid). "Down the alley Hogan" is the first comic book, but that has not had much success.
Late 80's was marked by the beginning of a new boom - the film adaptation of comic books. In 1989 the fiftieth anniversary of the Batman was shot the same film. Then begins a whole series of pictures taken by graphic stories - Raven (based on the eponymous comic strip by James O? Bara), Spider-Man, Constantine - lord of darkness (the comic Hellblazer, which is drawn by different authors), and many others. And each new film based on the graphic comic book stories the lovers with great impatience.
The history of comics is not over, and now it is still being created. Write new stories, new characters are drawn. Comics are developing not only in America but around the world.
