Vladivostok Customs doubled figures in the fight against smuggling
For the first quarter of this year, the Vladivostok customs found 312 cases of administrative offenses. This is 21% more than in the same period of last year.
As a result, the very customs fined over $ 7.5 million rubles, the court and Rosfinnadzor "added" penalties of 20.6 million rubles. Sum recoveries exceeded 4.7 million rubles.
Objects offenses are most often undeclared currency, alcohol, furniture and transport.
It should be noted that in the first quarter of customs officers stopped a smuggling worth almost double that of the same period last year (the estimated value in 2012 amounted to 9000000 rubles, in 2013 - 17 million).
The most important facts prevent smuggling include two attempts transportation toys (4 million and 2 million), non-declaration of lamps and lighting equipment (1.7 million), auto parts (700000 and 900 thousand).
