Russian Ministry of Education recommends that the Russian regions to introduce uniform requirements for school clothes, ITAR-TASS . The corresponding letter was published today on the website of the Ministry.
According to the proposal of the Ministry, «the appearance and clothing of students of state and municipal educational institutions must conform to generally accepted social norms of business style and be secular.»
Requirements for school clothes, said the Ministry of Education, the schools will establish a separate piece of legislation, and the «common type of clothing students, the color, style can identify the school, the parent committee, PTA meeting or the board of trustees.»
In the schools will use three types of clothing — casual, front and sports. It can be an educational organization decals — posters, badges, pins, ties.
However, students are not encouraged to wear clothing, shoes and accessories, which can cause them injury. In addition, you should avoid anti-social symbolism informal youth associations, as well as promoting drugs and immoral behavior.
The ministry said that the uniform requirements will help ensure students\’ aesthetic and comfortable clothing in everyday school life, and to eliminate the signs of social, material and religious differences between students. »
Experience introduction of uniform dress code students are already available in many schools in the Republic of Karelia, Tatarstan, Stavropol Krai, Belgorod, Leningrad, Moscow, Omsk, Orenburg, Penza, Rostov, Saratov, Ulyanovsk, Yaroslavl regions and other regions of the Russian Federation.
