Compensation for the care of disabled will increase
Elected officials suggest increasing the amount of benefits that get people caring for disabled citizens to the minimum wage in Russia. In 2013 this amount is 5205 rubles.
Monthly compensation received by those who care for a disabled group 1 a child — invalid under 18 and for the elderly, according to the doctors who need constant care or under the age of 80 years.
The presence of kinship and co-residence is not important. Recipient of the payment is to be able to work, do not receive a pension and not work.
In practice, care of disabled persons are likely to be related. They have no work, and thus reaching the retirement age, are not entitled to compensation, and, having little work experience, receive low pensions.
Taking this into account, the deputies proposed to increase payments to such people to the minimum wage — said VestiRegion.ru Affairs Office of Public Affairs of the Legislative Assembly of Primorsky Krai.
