Last Sunday in Vladivostok held a world-famous Irish dance show «Gaelforce Dance». This is not an ordinary dance show, rather, it is a performance which combines the traditions of Irish dance and elements of classical ballet.
The plot Gaelforce Dance based on the history of two brothers, one of love, jealousy, tragedy and triumph.
Translated into Russian, name of the group means «Strength of Gallic dance.» In 2010 «Gaelforce Dance» won the ranking of the journal «Limelight Award» for best dance performance, ahead of all other Irish dance shows in its category. Dance troupe hit the Guinness Book of Records — Irish dancer James Devine was able to fight off attacks on the parquet 38 per second — more than anyone else to it!
For half an hour the magic of Irish dance, violin and romantic songs captivated the audience, and the sound of knocking on the parquet heels made wildly beating heart. A full house at the end of the performance artists spent enthusiastic applause.
