Lost sight scholar and poet introduced Vladivostok "fire drawings"

Seaside scholar, poet, artist Michael Wood presented Baryshko vladivostoktsev "Drawings by fire" and presented a new book.

Exhibition of his paintings, executed in wood burning technology, opened at the Exhibition center of the museum named after Arsenyev at ul.Petra Great, 6.

Engage in creative Michael Yemelianovich began in 1987. It has been almost a quarter century - now in its "portfolio" over 1200 miniatures and paintings in the exhibition includes almost twentieth. The exposition - not the first to master. He participated in 17 exhibitions, became the hero of TV programs. Reproductions of paintings Baryshko often published in books, newspapers, magazines.

On the aims and objectives of the exhibition Michael Yemelianovich told the news agency Primore24.

- This exhibition, as well as my new book, "The Three Muses", a peculiar result of my creative life. The book contains all the results of my work - poetry, paintings, and even statues, carved out of wood. I could draw well from childhood, but the burning was carried away already in Naval. First there were sailboats, then portraits, and away we go.

I mastered the technique itself. With experience, we realized: for example, the summer transfer easier than winter, it became clear how to halftones are many nuances. All stories are created if not from life, by collecting images of landscapes, pictures from magazines, photographs. Very fond of forest motifs and village, the church has a special significance.

I published a book of his burning technique. Unfortunately, in 2012 I had no shows and there was almost no work. Because of health problems and mistakes of doctors after the surgery, I was blind, his right eye does not see at all, and on the left of the remaining 10%. This, of course, changed the feelings I experience during burning, but did not make me give it up. This year, I burned two female portraits, and my last work, in memory of my friend. This is my cat, Fluffy, he died recently, a little before the age of 16 years. But I still had the memory, two of his portrait, adult and young, and three poems that I have devoted to it. Poems I write more gradually, but with science and burning, I probably already finished. Only poetry and exhibitions. Not for me, for the people.

Despite the fact that Michael - the self-taught artist, scenes of life and living conditions of people, natural scenery, animals, churches, portraits amazing naturalism. Many places seem familiar, and warm wood tones make images cozy and bright. His works are in private collections in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, the U.S. and Japan.

However, the beautiful views inspire master not only art, but also in poetry. Poems Baryshko published in Moscow magazine "Muse" and many Far Eastern newspapers. As well, the works of Michael Emelyanovich were published in literary anthologies: "Praise the Lord", "seaside multicolority talents", "Thank God" and others. Seaside literary and musical anthology "Living cloud", the final number of which will be released this year, also a record of the poet. But other than that, Baryshko has its own collection of poems, "The Revelation of the soul."

Along with the work of Michael was also involved in research activities, which resulted in 21 scientific work and 7 monographs. He has visited many countries and on different continents, particularly fruitful research has turned nature and water resources of the Far East. The latter, not even published work, has already received a diploma as a reward from the scientific community.
