The World Health Organization has recognized the love of mental illness at No. F63.9. Art group «stomach» in all forms showed «love» disease at the opening of his exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art «Artetage», on Friday, March 22.
Art group «womb», consisting of brothers Roman and Ruslan Chernakova appeared relatively recently, in 2011. However, having behind him only a little experience of literary activity and experimental art, a creative synthesis declared itself loudly — the work of artists has been recognized by many prestigious competitions, and exhibitions held throughout Russia, and got to the center of Primorye.
In the bizarre and eccentric, at first sight, lines of «adultery,» «Effect of delusion», «Zapretnogo fruit» and other works are embedded derivatives peculiar love and unusual ways of its implementation. Like most of modern art, «stomach» is clearly trying to shock, and outrageous that excites interest.
Unfortunately, the creative tandem of Krasnoyarsk was not able to attend the opening ceremony in Vladivostok. But it did not affect the kind words spoken by the museum director Alexander Gorodno:
— It\’s nice that people have come to such a seemingly minor, compared to the classics exhibition. I, myself, just recently, the Internet became acquainted with these guys. At first I saw only a couple of works, they seemed quite happy and playful, and no more. But my personal opinion is — they have a very serious approach to life and to the very notion of love. I am pleased that young people, in general, is digging deep. What about the external environment — maybe it is, of course, such a youthful maximalism, then they do not open up America, but on the other hand — for themselves they have something new in this draw.
