Flying balls of fire in the sky — spectacular. But often start flying lanterns marred by the fact that, despite its name, in the sky, they never take off.
The reasons are different — not incinerate or ignite the burner, torn paper, disperse poorly made seams. This is typical of counterfeit goods. It should be borne in mind that low-quality copy can be a threat of poisoning and fire.
In early March, Nakhodka Customs seized quantity of counterfeit «holiday lights» sky lanterns «to start up in the air.» About 164 thousand «sky lanterns» were imported through the port of East China to the Vladivostok firm. In the supporting documents submitted to the Nakhodka Customs was not such trademarks.
However, the customs inspection revealed that the product packaging present designation confusingly similar to the trademark «Sky Lanterns», registered in Rospatent. Consignee, giving customs declaration did not provide proof of the right to use the trademark.
For illegal use of a trademark filed administrative proceedings under Art. 1410 of the Administrative Code of Russia. Sanction of Article provides for liability in the form of a fine of 30 thousand to 40 thousand rubles with confiscation of goods containing the illegal use of the trademark.
