Alexander Pokrovsky was born in 1952 in Baku. Once the future writer graduated in 1975 Caspian Higher Naval School Kirov, he was sent to the Northern Fleet.
Having served until 1985 Alexander was transferred to the 1st Institute in St. Petersburg, after which, in 1991 was fired at will in the post of captain of the 2nd rank.
Two years later, in 1993 the first book of Alexander — «Marlezonskogo ballet», and another one year later — the famous book «Shoot.» In 2000 saw the light one of the most popular books of the author of «72 meters», which later, in 2004 filmed Vladimir Khotinenko.
Writer and to this day does not leave his work: a frequent contributor to newspapers and is personal blog .
