The Council for the Cossacks under the president decided to create the All-Russian Association of Cossack communities, consisting of 11 Cossack troops who are registered in a public register, told «Izvestiya» head of the Central Cossack Valery Nalimov. According to him, the new organization will be created in the next two months.
Nalimov said that talks about the performance will be conducted with the Cossacks, who are not registered in the State Register. «There are, of course, those who are against it, but the association will be created,» — Said burbot.
In the presidential administration supported the initiative. «It will become clear where the real Cossacks, where fake. Work to be difficult, someone will object. But for the common good have to either give up or be left behind » — Kremlin source told the publication.
At the end of January in Russia was registered Cossack Party of Russia. It was headed by the Vice-Governor of the Rostov Region Sergey Bondarev. Creation of the party supported the head of the Council for the Cossacks, Alexander briefly.
Online Register of Cossack societies of Russia listed 426 organizations. Some of them are included in the 11 Cossack troops. As a result of the 2010 census, the Cossacks themselves called about 70 thousand people.
