Primorsky Territory Governor Vladimir Miklushevsky today, March 5 rejected amendments to the law «On the Status member of the Legislative Assembly of the Primorsky Territory.»
Recall, according to the proposed law, the details of income and expenditure should provide only deputies working on a permanent basis. However, the Federal Law № 184-FZ «On general principles of organization of legislative (representative) and executive bodies of the Russian Federation» establishes the obligation to provide information on the income and expenditure for all legislators, regardless of the basis for the implementation of their activities.
» Status of the deputy assumes the declaration of income of all members without exception. Elected officials should be accountable to their constituents about their income My team and I will do it, I am sure that you will support me «- Said Vladimir Miklushevsky at a meeting with members of the regional parliament.
Rejected the law, the Governor of Primorsky Krai Vladimir Miklushevsky asked the deputies to bring its provisions into line with the requirements of federal law and to consider this issue at the next session of the Legislative Assembly of Primorsky Krai.
