Photo: Press-service of the Vladivostok Administration In Vladivostok, a contest "Young theorist" on the subject of ear training and competition of children's choirs "Musical Rainbow" for students of municipal schools of music and art schools of the city.
In one of the most difficult competitions "Young theorist" was attended by 19 children. Pupils wrote musical dictation (write notes on the hearing), work on the theory of music and the auditory task analysis. In addition, young theorists performed oral intonation exercises, assignments to compose melodies, accompaniment selection and more. Despite the high level of complexity, more written work received the highest score of the jury.
Grand Prix "Junior theoretician" Paul won Tarianyk (Art School № 3 the teacher IN Glukhova). Second place in the three age categories divided Alexander Pavlovsky (Art School № 2 teacher T.N.Skibo), Ilya Vovchenko (Art School № 8 teacher L.P.Sobolevskaya) and An HiDzhin (Art School № 1 teacher G.I.Vengrova ). In third place - Olesya Kurilova (Art School № 5 teacher N.M.Bykova), Anastasia Onopa (Art School № 1 teacher G.I.Vengrova) and Natalya Ezhov (Art School № 6 teacher T.A.Lazareva).
In the city competition "Musical Rainbow" was attended by about 400 young artists. Auditions are held in the junior (grades 1-4 art schools) and high (5-7 grade school arts) age groups. Grand Prix won the choir "Firefly" (Art School № 1 head E.A.Petuhova), winners in the younger group named:
1st place - Choir "Sunrise" (Art School № 1 head G.L.Potopyak)
2nd place - Choir "Freckles" (music school № 2 head N.N.Ilicheva)
3rd place - Choir "Watercolor" (Art School № 3 head A.V.Sergienko).
Senior group:
1st place - Choir "Scarlet" (Art School № 1 head E.A.Petuhova)
2nd place - choir "Voices of Spring" (music school № 2 head N.I.Ilicheva)
3rd place - Choir "Rainbow" (Art School № 6 head R.G.Avgustina).
Professional competitions, festivals and competitions for students of municipal children's art schools are traditionally held in Vladivostok in February and March. Their winners usually take part in regional and international competitions, which take place during the March holidays in Vladivostok Music College and Far Eastern State Academy of Arts. Also, the winners will take part in a gala concert to be held in April.
Organizers - the Department of Culture of the Vladivostok Administration with the town's methodical associations of teachers of children's art schools - are invited to visit festivals and competitions all comers.
