Vladivostok city administration has announced a competition for a sculpture "Katyusha"

Vladivostok Administration announces an open competition to create a thumbnail image of the city sculpture art song "Katyusha". Participants invited professional sculptors, architects, creative teams.

Heroine of the song served as a prototype for a resident of Vladivostok Ekaterina Alekseeva. When she was studying at the Moscow Conservatory, her friends wrote about her song "Katyusha", became world famous. Catherine then returned to his native land, where he participated in the Khasan events, working at the hospital.

To enter the competition you need to provide a model of sculpture on a pedestal. Scale working model - 500-600mm (1:5 life size of sculpture). The estimated size of the sculpture sold pedestal - 2500-3000 mm material - granite. Expected installation location sculpture - observation platform, located in the houses on the street. Ovchinnikov, 2-6.

Deadline for models and projects - from March 5 to April 10.

The main prize - 80000 rubles.

The contest will be an exhibition of work, where citizens can speak to the account of sculptural models. The final stage will be a meeting of the jury, which also chooses the winner. The jury consists of:
