The parties signed a cooperation agreement for the project of construction of a new specialized port in Primorye. Marine coal terminal capacity of 20 million tons will be located in the area Shkotovsky region — in the Bay of Dry Valley. Vladimir Miklushevsky stressed that this project is very important for the development of Primorsky Krai. It will facilitate access to port infrastructure to small and medium-sized coal enterprises. «Transport and logistics industry — one of the priorities in the Maritime region, so this project we will support. Such large projects — a great «anchor» for the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the region, «- said the head of the region. As the head of the region Mikhail Fedyaev, construction is scheduled to begin in 2014. The project will create an additional 700 jobs. For the employees of the port in the village Romanivka company plans to build a 100-apartment house. The company also will provide financial support for the renovation of the local schools and roads to the village. Chapter Shkotovsky District Viktor Mikhailov said that the implementation of the project for the construction of the plant was made possible by the transfer to the municipality 753 hectares of the Ministry of Harrow. The governor stressed that the transfer of unused land of the Ministry of Defence of Russia edge gives a big boost to the areas of the province. He also proposed to hold a hearing at a meeting of the port project advisory council on public investment.
