Young dancers from the Maritime won the "Crystal Lotus" in Beijing

The Festival of Arts on the basis of the Beijing Dance Academy was attended by about three thousand Russian and Chinese children. Art competitions were held at the theater, circus, music, dance venues. The works of the young artists were shown at exhibitions. The jury was composed of the leaders of the Russian and Chinese art.

Russia was presented very well. In Beijing creative teams arrived from Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Sochi, Yakutsk. Exemplary choreographic ensemble "Sail" One is Primorye in the direction. The team first took part in the international competition abroad. "Sail" has also been invited to the Russian Competition in Moscow from a jury member Andrey Timofeev, who is a member of the commission on the choreography Theatre Union of Russia.

Ensemble at the Municipal Cultural Center was established in 1986. Its permanent director - Tatiana Sukhorukov. Basic repertoire are national-stage and characteristic, as well as story and game dances. The "sails" are about 80 children from 5 to 17 years. Children and youth team is a permanent member of the regional competition. The team repeatedly went by invitation to China, Japan, where he performed with the concert programs.
