The memory of the hero immortalized seaside railroad

To honor the memory of the hero of a railway to the grand event brought together workers and veterans of rail transport, railway management representatives and residents of the village.

Fedor Izhederov was born in 1922 in the Samara region. In 1927 the family moved in Primorye, where Theodore received his primary education and worked until the beginning of World War II as a painter, plasterer Ussuri distance of civil works at the station Coal Coastal Railway.

After he graduated from the mobilization of the regimental school, then courses for junior lieutenants in the reserve infantry regiment and in August 1942 fought Nazi Germany. He was assistant commander and then commander of a rifle platoon and company commander. In the fighting was wounded five times, fought at Voronezh, Central, 1st and 4th Ukrainian fronts.

The platoon commander 320th Guards Rifle Regiment Guard Lt. Izhederov in action July 151944 near the village of Yarchovtsy Ternopil region, Ukraine, after the death of the company commander took over the command of a company, holding counter-attacks, which lasted two days. The morning of July 17 fighters under his command company first crossed the Strypa, broke into the enemy trench, captured and held the bridge over the river than to the successful promotion of 320th Guards Rifle Regiment. On this day, Guards Lieutenant Izhederovu 22 years old.

In the course of further attack Izhederova company participated in the battles for the city of Rohatyn, Drogobic Borislav. In September 1944 on the Polish border river San Fedor was shot in the fifth and evacuated to a military hospital.

Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet on 24 March 1945 for the exemplary performance of command assignments at the front of the struggle against the fascist invaders and displaying courage and heroism Guard Lt. Theodore Izhederov was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union and the Order of Lenin and medal "Gold Star" .

In May 1946 the Guard Captain Izhederov retired to the reserve, returned to his home in the city Pohvistnevo Kuibyshev region, where he worked until his death at the carpenter furniture plant.
