Quarterly catch fishermen Primorye was the best in five years

During the first quarter of 2013 fishing enterprises edge showed the best performance in comparison with the same periods of the previous five years.

As described in the specialized regional department, catches living aquatic resources by enterprises of Primorye in the first quarter amounted to 345700 tonnes (2009 - 241500 tons, in 2010 - 314900 tons, in 2011 - 331300 tons; 2012 - 331300 tonnes).

Recall that pollock is the main object of mining coastal fishermen. Its share in total production for the first quarter of 2013 was 79%. Coastal fishermen have mastered 53% of pollock quota. Compared to last year, the harvest increased by 1123 tons.

A second aspect of the fishery on the mass, after Pollock, for coastal rybodobychikov in the first quarter of this year is herring.

As described in the department of fisheries and aquatic resources of Primorsky Krai, herring catch on April 1 totaled 60700 tons, 14600 tons more than last year.

In the North Okhotsk subarea, mainly fishing area, where allocated quota catch of 48800 tonnes (in 2012 - 39.6 thousand tons), the quota mastered by 45%.
