Volunteers will be able to join the work of the various festival Services (press center, cinema and hospitality services, information, and interactions with the Jury, Audience Award). Recall that in this year's festival will undergo significant changes. They have already started with the change of leadership: organization engaged in Gorky Theatre artistic director Efim Zvenyatsky. In the interview, he, in particular, said the following:

- All the major film festivals there is such a thing as a "film market", we have it is still lacking. This is where the distributors are going, there is a tumultuous life. Maybe we'll do an exit Film Market. The film market is in Moscow, Sochi, St. Petersburg, perhaps someone will be interesting to conduct on-site film market for two - three years in Vladivostok. It is extremely important that the movie has become Asia into the Russian regions, this is an interesting prospect.
- It is necessary to do the status Film Festival, the annual change of the president Film Festival "Pacific Meridian" will help strengthen this status. I already have some ideas on this, but I will not reveal all the cards.
- It is necessary to introduce a "festival village". We would like to do a special show, a retrospective of his films in the Festival. Also have an idea to do a retrospective of Russian animated film Oscar winner Alexander Petrov. I will not reveal all the secrets, but I will say that the plan is to attract Russian and foreign stars in the film festival.
