Identified products contain intellectual property, made not only to the customs registry of intellectual property. Some of them are registered in the public register of trade marks, service marks and appellations of origin. In respect of these trademarks has been used as a measure called ex officio - the suspension of release of goods containing objects of intellectual property not included in the customs registry of intellectual property
Work is in progress and the protection of the Olympic and Paralympic symbols, under an agreement between the Russian Federal Customs Service and the Organizing Committee "Sochi 2014". Ussuri Customs for the period from 2010 to 2012 identified 8131 units of counterfeit products using the Olympic symbols.
