In Russia, from March 1 amendments abolishing licensing of the production of low-alcohol beverages (cider, Poirot, mead). At the same time, manufacturers of beer, from January 1 equated to alcohol and banned for sale in the stalls, state the mass closure of shops.

The return on the shelves of cider and mead due to amendments to the Tax Code and the law on state regulation of production and turnover of ethyl alcohol and alcohol products. Last summer, when it was introduced licensing, production of these drinks almost stopped. Now, they are subject to the same rules as the production and trafficking of beer, wrote "Rossiyskaya Gazeta".

As for the beer, the change in the law has led to a massive closure of kiosks and stalls, say brewers. According to them, the first month of the new law, the number of the closed stalls ranged from 36 to 50%, RBC daily.

The head of the Coalition booth keepers Vladlen Maksimov told reporters that the exact numbers to reduce the number of stalls from the beginning, the organization has not yet, but these brewers seem very real to him.
