The monitoring revealed the emergence of a new man-made object in the National Park "Land of Leopard", near the boundary with the reserve "Cedar Pad" as well as an access road to it.
According to reports received from local residents, it was determined that the object on the ground is a quarry. Its area on February 142013 was 1.2 hectares, on February 202013 is 3.5 hectares.
Meanwhile, according to the order dated June 42012 № 142 on the Approval of the National Park "Land of Leopard", the national park is prohibited any activity that could harm natural heritage of flora and fauna, cultural and historical sites and which is contrary to the goals and objectives of the national park, including:
Exploration and development of mineral resources.
Activity that entails a violation of soil and geological outcrops.
